Importing Records

Bring existing structured data into LogBuildr using CSV import workflows.

Before importing

Confirm that the destination log and fields already exist. The CSV columns should match the fields you plan to import.

CSV preparation

  • Use a header row.
  • Keep dates in a consistent format.
  • Remove duplicate or incomplete rows before import.
  • Test with a small file before importing a large dataset.

After importing

Review imported records to confirm the field mapping and values are correct.
